Um…ok, I’ll admit: I had no idea what to call today’s blog.
but I DON’T CARE because I have had what can easily be called the best week of the year so far (as far as the weekdays are concerned)
Here’s a convenient step-by-step guide to the week.
MONDAY!
an audition (not interview….definitely not interview) to work at TGI Friday’s. It went rather david schwimmingly and was very enjoyable. We had to prepare a “talent” and so I wrote a 2 page attmpt at stand-up. I stood up, said the first line, and they laughed and said “that’s good enough, sit down”. I thought: “what? I’ve spent hours working on this shit and I’ve surpassed with a poo joke?”.
Successful though
let’s hope for the best.
TUESDAY!
Ok, this isn’t so special, apart from my managing to pour scolding hot water all over my hand. Apparently it looked like a “zombie hand”. Nice.
At least it makes a good story.
WEDNESDAY
This was when I went to see You Me At Six and it was prett awesome. I managed to meet them afterwards, along with the ginger guy from We The Kings. Cool beans.
THURSDAY
Today, I went to see To Kill A Mockingbird at the thingy theatre in Swansea. It was good, but even better was the hilarity of the coach trip there. Good times.
Then I had to share a ride with a weird girl who we gave a lift home to, only to listen to my parents judge her and the rest of my generation on the way back. Pretty funny, all in all.
FRIDAY
yay…week over. And in the evening, half a load of us went to see Steve Williams (comedian, from Newport, awesome) and he was absolutely brilliant. He managed to conjure up a truly glorious image of riding a walrus naked down a motorway, throwing custard over shoulders, to be greeted by a slightly shocked rabbit.
Wonderful. It’s probably linguistically impossible to do justice to this week in comparison to others.
Bliss
Peace.
