This is my first post and I am glad to report that the sun is shining, the birds are singing and from outside it looks like a pretty good day. However, for me and many others in my school yeargroup, it was the day of our first exam. It was only Religious studies, a half-course, so the air wasn’t filled to with panic like it would be for a subject that matters. However, it does mark the start of an era of boredom and BBC bitesize.
The exam was in the afternoon, which gave me just enough time to revise ethics and eat enough crap to make a walrus hurl. It was quite funny reading everyone’s status simultaniously turn into emotionally stressed wishes of luck, as if we were about to storm a beach. I never knew people found RS so exciting…
The exam ended, and I felt a mixture of end-of-exam relief and pride, regarding how I managed to mention George Michael, The Matrix and Alzeimers in my exam.
My next one is one monday, so in the meantime, I retire to eating more crap, talking secretly on msn, eating a bit more, and eventually getting some work done.
It was just a taste of what’s to come. All I can say is I don’t know where I’d be without The Ghost Of A Thousand screaming at me from my laptop.
I may well have gone insane.
